For decades, I was consumed by the "diet voice," the number on the scale, and negative self-talk. It took me years to discover that there was a better way.
Cooking has always been my passion. Across cultures, food fosters love, connection, and community. For years, I owned a catering business and loved creating menus that blended healthy and decadent recipes. Later, when I closed my business and began working for organizations that didn't share my commitment to nutrition, I found I was no longer satisfied.
I returned to school to study coaching and nutrition. Through my studies, I learned that reasonable, balanced approaches to nutrition and wellness worked better for me than rigid diets. I went on to combine my loves of food and wellness with the mission of empowering as many people as possible to dismantle diet culture so they can be happy, healthy, and confident at any size!
